PML-N Mian Marghoob win PP-150 after vote recount
Mian Marghoob of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won yet again by 453 votes after the recounting of votes at PP-150 Lahore was completed on Wednesday.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaaf (PTI) has rejected the results of the recount in this constituency yet again.

Marghoob Ahmad secured 18,526 votes while PTI candidate Mehar Wajid Azeem came in second with 18,074 votes.

At least 452 of the votes were rejected.

After a neck-and-neck contest in the August 22 by-elections, PML-N’s Ahmad was declared the winner with a close margin of 374 votes from the runners up, PTI’s Azeem.

Azeem challenged the result in the courts, alleging irregularities at some polling stations.

The Election Commission later ordered a recount on August 29.
