Lakers may be interested in bringing back Kyle Kuzma
On December 15, players from NBA teams signed during the offseason can be traded, and as that date approaches, trade rumors begin to heat up.
Of course, the Los Angeles Lakers have been active in the trade market survey for almost a calendar year, as there is a great sense of urgency to maximize LeBron James’ last productive years.
One player the Lakers are interested in is reportedly familiar: Kyle Kuzma.

“Another team to monitor would be the Lakers, knowing Kuzma has championship experience playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis,” Eric Pincus wrote. “Resigning the first time the two parted ways and reuniting with Kuzma would fit the Lakers’ track record.
“
When Kuzma was in Los Angeles, he wasn’t a natural fit, as he’s a player who needs the ball in his hands to be effective offensively. Also, some fans were frustrated by his slow growth as a player and how active he was on Instagram.
However, the 6-foot-9 forward showed significant improvement in his defense and rebounding during his four seasons with the Lakers.
He is currently having a career season with the Washington Wizards, averaging a career-best 21.

7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Kuzma wouldn’t help the Lakers’ 3-point shooting woes, but it would give them a reliable, productive big forward who knows how to play their two superstars.
