Ja Morant is rated 93, 5 points over $90 million Clippers star- fair or unfair?
Paul George seems to be a bit of a forgotten man in today’s NBA: he’s still an elite star who deserves his due respect.
Ja Morant is the poster child for today’s Guards, and understandably so. He has been a breath of fresh air, either because of his skills or the antics of him. He brings an energy that is contagious, not only to his teammates but also to the spectators.
He’s been on the rise steadily, from his rookie of the year win to his recent All-Star selection. That gives him all the love, but there’s a guy who was Morant before Morant.
Paul George, the former Indiana Pacers phenom, was exactly like the Grizzlies star. He provided the same tenacity and vigor that Morant does now, and he provided the same level of entertainment.
So why the disparity in ratings? When he was on the Pacers and he jumped right out of the gym, he only had an 86 top rating. He reached the 93 mark after his phenomenal season with OKC.
Ja, on the other hand, has had one semi-final appearance, and BAM, she has the same rating as Steph Curry from a few years ago.
Ronnie 2K should be fixing their rating system because people are either massively overrated or underrated.
Every year, people pay $60 and millions in microtransactions, but the controversy continues.
Get it right, Ronnie, or let someone else do it because all you’re doing is daylight robbery. From both players and athletes, because nothing is ever right!
Paul George is vital to the Clippers team, even more than Kawhi Leonard
Paul George is a man whose name seems to have faded into the background when people talk about the best players in the league. Since he moved from the Indiana Pacers, his name has been on the injured list more than the best players.
He was a beast in OKC, partnering with Russell Westbrook. But again, no success meant that she slipped through the cracks.
So when he moved to the Los Angeles Clippers, fans started talking again. Pairing up with a defensive stalwart like Kawhi Leonard just meant he would be freed up for a more offensive role.
PG has been an incredible athlete, with his outstanding windmill dunks still making the rounds to this day. But then a terrible playoff performance changed his nickname from Playoff P to Pandemic P.
Not many players can recover from that kind of change, but he did. Last season, PG wanted his team to finish in eighth place, only to lose the playoff spot in the entry tournament.
The previous season, he and Kawhi led the team to the conference finals, losing to the finalists, the Phoenix Suns.
There is an elite player there, but he is not fit enough on a regular basis.
