Trae Young and Hawks present nasty cake dissing Joel Embiid to John Collins to celebrate his 25th birthday
Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks continue to troll Joel Embiid at John Collins’ birthday celebrations
Amid all the hype about teams like the Cavaliers and Wolves after their immaculate offseasons, it’s as if the world has completely forgotten about the Hawks.
This is a team that took leaps and bounds to beef up its backcourt this offseason, with the acquisition of Dejounte Murray and, of course, Trae Young’s famous training week with Stephen Curry.
Add to that the fact that their frontcourt is already as big as it is, and they have a very good team, which could make a lot of noise in the Eastern Conference.
One of the main reasons the Hawks have such a high-quality forward line is John Collins. And recently, it was the great man’s birthday, with him blowing out the candles on his 25the. Happy birthday John!
But while that’s just something to celebrate, Trae Young and the Hawks decided to take it to the next level, doing something no one expected.
And well, let’s just say Joel Embiid isn’t going to be the world’s biggest fan.

Let’s go back a few months. Remember this crazy standout from John Collins?

Pretty crazy, right? And in a season that was defined by the highest of highs for Joel Embiid, this was one of the few that didn’t make it into his scrapbook.
Considering that reality, the man probably wanted the world to forget about this one as soon as humanly possible. And he did…until the Hawks decided to do this.
We can’t decide which is more unpleasant. The highlight, or the Hawks as an organization in this case.
