‘The Conjuring’ haunted house sells for millions, but with this condition!
The popular haunted house that led to ‘The spell’ The franchise was sold for a whopping $1.52 million, but with a strange condition for the buyer.
The property in Rhode Island, USA, that inspired the idea for the 2013 supernatural horror film, ‘The spell’ it has managed to fetch a whopping $1.52 million, reportedly 27% above the asking price.
Jacqueline Nuñez, 58, a Boston real estate developer is the new owner of the haunted house.
Despite paying a high price for the deal, Nunez agreed to the sellers’ stipulation, which asked him ‘not to live in the house’ for the buyer’s sake.

“This is a very personal purchase for me,” he said of the deal. “This is a property that allows people to talk to the dead, I will host events at the house with the Perron family.”
“I’m not afraid of the house,” he added. “Ask me again in a year.”
For those unversed, the three-part horror series is a fictional account of the Perron family and their work with paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Additionally, the iconic ‘spell house’ has a history of murder, rape and suicide.
The 3,109-square-foot property, located at 1677 Round Top Road in Burrillville, RI, was purchased by paranormal investigators Jenn and Cory Heinzen in 2019 for $439,000, resulting in a huge profit for the duo with the recent deal. .
Heinzens reportedly spent four months in the house, restricting themselves to a single room as a “sign of respect for the spirits, letting them get used to us instead of barging in,” yet they still received visits from a black figure.
Residents were also said to have heard footsteps and banging in the house during their stay, while also seeing flashes of light in rooms that had no lights.
