Rs11.5 million looted from PSX member’s house in Karachi

KARACHI: A security guard took cash, Rs 11.5 crore, from the home of a member of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) at the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi, SIAL NEWS reported on Sunday.

According to the details, the accused, identified as Allah Rakha, escaped after stealing 11.5 million rupees from the house in DHA Phase VIII. CCTV footage of the robbery has been acquired by SIAL NEWS.

In the CCTV video, the accused can be seen stealing cash from a car at the PSX member’s home. Meanwhile, the police have recovered 10.8 million by arresting the brother of the suspects.

The main defendant, who is also the bungalow’s security guard, remains at large.

A case has been registered against the suspect due to the complaint of a PSX member.

In early February of this year, 70 tons of gold More than 8 million rupees worth was looted during a robbery at a house within the jurisdiction of Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal Police Station.

According to the police, four armed men forced their way into a house in the Gulshan-e-Jamal neighborhood when a family member opened the door to leave for work.

A Karachi police officer said the thieves looted 70 tons of gold worth more than 8 million rupees before escaping.
