“Kyrie Irving is truly misunderstood”: LeBron James comes out in support of former Cavs teammate

LeBron James comes out in support of former Cavs teammate

Former NBA teammate and superstar LeBron James praises Kyrie Irving for posting his interview on The Shop.

Two of the best players to ever wear a Cavaliers uniform, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, enjoyed a lot of success together in Cleveland before things went south. His most iconic achievement was the 2016 NBA championship, coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the 73-9 Golden State Warriors.

Uncle Drew played the perfect Robin for LBJ’s Batman. However, things went downhill after the 2017 Finals, with the Cavs losing to the behemoth Warriors.

Irving had voiced his demand for a trade, leaving James in shock.

Kai was reportedly no longer in the mood to play second fiddle.

Over the years, Irving made indirect comments about James, beginning with him appearing on Kevin Durant’s ETC podcast.

Speaking of his Nets teammate KD, Kai had this to say.

“One thing I’ve always felt comfortable with is that I felt like I was the best option on every team I played for down the stretch,” he said of the 2012 ROTY.

“This is the first time in my career that I can look down and say, ‘That son of a bitch can make that shot too.'”

The previous comments caused a storm, with James expressing pain as well. However, this wasn’t the first or last time the Nets guard took shots at the four-time Finals MVP.

However, judging by Irving’s recent appearance on HBO’s The Shop, all seems to be going well between him and James.

LeBron James thinks Kyrie Irving is “misunderstood.”

It wouldn’t hurt to call Irving one of the most controversial stars in NBA history, whether it’s because of the perception that the earth is flat or because of his supernatural theories. Kai could be unsettling for many.

However, nothing beats his anti-vaccination stance, leading to polarized opinions.

Coming off one of the most scrutinizing seasons of his career, Irving made a recent appearance on The Shop. The former Cavs guard tackled a number of issues, including being teammates with superstars like Kevin Durant and LeBron James.

Speaking about his early years in the league, Irving discussed dealing with the pressures of being the No. 1 pick in Cleveland’s controversial post-James exit.

The interview generated quite a stir, as many users supported the Nets guard, who felt that they had supposedly not understood him, something that his former teammate James seconded.

Interestingly, the offseason has been littered with reports that Irving met with James in Los Angeles. While this seems like a long shot, one can expect the unpredictable.
