“I Want to Do an Underwear Ad With My Sons”: Shaquille O’Neal Announces Awkward Reason to Shed 55 Pounds of Weight
Shaquille O’Neal Reveals… Interesting Reasons Behind His Massive Weight Loss Goals
Shaquille O’Neal hasn’t played in the league in a long, long time. But it seems that he is still learning some very important lessons when it comes to health.
During his playing career, it’s fair to say he didn’t give a damn how much he weighed or how fit he was.
All I knew was that it would take the entire start of the NBA regular season to get rid of all the excess fat during the beginning of the season, to get in shape that would be good enough for the postseason.
But, Shaq is no longer a young man. And with that realization has come his crazy weight loss story, something he chose to talk about very recently.
And it is fair to say that his motivation is not the most conventional in the world.

Shaquille O’Neal has already lost quite a bit of weight in the past few months, but he doesn’t plan to stop there.
Now, there have been many in different circles of the NBA community who have antagonized the man for not doing this during his time with the Lakers.
But frankly, in that sense, it’s nice to see the man take care of his body. And apparently, his success in this part of his life is already quite admirable.
Take a look at his quote in the tweet below.
Shaquille O’Neal on trying to lose weight:
“I was 401 pounds, now I’m 365. I’m trying to get back to 345. I want to have muscles everywhere and I want to do an underwear ad with my kids.”

This is a quote that came out of this very entertaining episode of the Logan Paul podcast, ‘Impaulsive’, which you can see below.
55 pounds? That’s crazy.
For those not staying in North America, this translates to him having dropped his weight from 400lbs to 350lbs. And he plans to cut it down to 350lbs as well.
Despite that, his motivation is interesting, to say the least.
Do you want to be an underwear model with your own children?
The O’Neal family has always been comfortable with each other, but we’re not sure anyone expected it to spread to this level.
What was Shaquille O’Neal’s playing weight?
With all this talk about Shaquille O’Neal’s weight loss, aren’t you a little curious to know how much he really weighed during his prime?
Was it as bad as the demonization of the NBA community would have you believe? Or was all of this just a very bad case of hype?
Well that’s up to you.
During its prime, the Diesel’s listed weight was 325 pounds, which translated to 147 kg.
Is that as bad as what has been described?
Frankly, we don’t think so.
