Four successive blasts rock Quetta, TV cameraman, reporter among 81 killed
Quetta: At least 81 people were killed and more than 160 others injured after four back-to-back blasts on Thursday in different parts of Quetta, a metropolitan of Pakistan’s Balochitsan province.
Sources said two explosions took place at Alamdar and Prince roads, and two others at airport road.
A TV cameraman, Imran Sheikh and reporter, Saif ur Rehman were killed and other media crew present at the spot for coverage were also among the injured.
Both of them were working for a Pakistani private news channel, Samaa.
Rescue workers are shifting the bodies and the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta.
Hazara Democratic Party has announced three-day mourning on the incidents.
Earlier in the morning, at least 13 people were killed in a blast at the Bacha Khan Chowk in the city.
