‘Ertuğrul’ actor Ugur Günes stars in Indian music video

Turkish star Ugur Gunes aka Tuğtekin de’Diriliş: Ertuğrul’ starred in the song’s Indian music video ‘Woh Beetey Din’ opposite Tanya Singh.

The song on the Indian Music label, T-Series, which is a new version of the song with a similar title. ‘Woh Beet Din’ from the 1984 Bollywood film ‘Purana Mandir’ features Ugur Gunes and actor and singer Tanya Singh as the main couple.

The music video about the love story of a Turkish man and an Indian girl was filmed in his homeland Turkey, however, Gunes recently flew to India to promote his Indian debut in the country.

Speaking about his interpretation of the song, at a press outing, Singh said: ‘It is because of my desire and motive to bring pop culture back into the industry that I came up with’Woh beetey din’.”

MV director Prem Raj Soni joined in to say, “The song is so relaxing that it will definitely touch everyone’s heart, and filming with Tanya Singh was an inspiring journey!”

The heartwarming track that premiered earlier this week was originally composed by Ajit Singh (Tanya Singh’s father), while the lyrics were by her mother, Gitanjali Singh.

It is pertinent to mention that the song ‘Woh Beetey Din’ It is the first Indo-Turkish musical collaboration.
