Dr Ishratul Ibad to return as Governor Sindh
KARACHI: The chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain has directed Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad to resume his duties, on Monday.
The spokesperson of the MQM said that Ebad will return to Karachi tomorrow (Tuesday) and will resume his duties.
Faisal Sabzwari confirms that Hussain has directed Ebad to resume his duties.
Ahsan Iqbal of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, while talking to SAMAA, suggested that MQM should back to the treasury benches completely.
Replying to a question, he said that his party tried seriously to form the grand alliance.
“It is the decision of the MQM to join the government,” he added.
Iqbal said that both the parties, PPP and MQM, should work together for the betterment and the peace in Karachi city. “Both the parties seriously play their role to restore peace in the city.
”
“We welcome back Dr Ishratul Ebad,” said PPP’s Nabeel Gabol.
He said that Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan’s dream came true.
“Opposition’s dream of grand alliance broken with Ebad’s back,” he added.
