Balochistan LG polls to be held today

QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will organize local government (LG) polls in 32 of the 34 districts of Baluchistan today, reported SIAL NEWS.

All arrangements have been completed to organize the LG surveys in 32 districts of Baluchistan. The voting process will continue uninterrupted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Overall, 3,552,398 registered voters will take part in the polls, while 5,226 polling stations, including 576 for men and 562 for women, are set up for the Baluchistan LG polls.

The electoral declarations of 1974 are declared confidential and those of 2034 are highly confidential.

The voting process will be supervised by the special secretary of the EC Balochistan office.

The chief election commissioner said any interference in voting will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against offenders.
