American rap artist Jay Electronica draws a parallel to Kevin Durant, calling him the goat herder.

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant is one of the most skilled players on the court in the NBA. With a wingspan of 7ft 5ft, the Slim Reaper is a standout walking reel, considered by many to be the best player on the planet. However, the Nets superstar is not his ideal role model, given his stature.

When we talk about the best in the business, the first names that come to mind are Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James, each championing the GOAT.

The three legends in question generally steered clear of controversies, mindful of their public image.

Speaking of Durant, the superstar with a net worth of $120 million is not one to play by the rulebook. The 33-year-old remains the darling of controversy, whether it’s because of his constant back-and-forth with fans and critics on social media or his questionable legacy.

The two-time Finals MVP recently had an interesting Instagram Live session with Jay Electronica, who had an interesting insight into where KD stands in the GOAT debate.

Electronica, who rose to fame in 2007 with their Act I: Eternal Sunshine mixtape, shares a special connection with NBA superstar Kevin Durant, evidenced by his recent Instagram Live session. The 45-year-old rapper revealed how KD got access to some of his songs that no one had ever heard.

Electronica, who seemed more excited than ever talking to the twelve-time All-Star, did not hesitate to hand his flowers to the Durants, saying the following.

"All those guys with the ball, the handles, the rings, they're GOATS. What about KD? I say nah, KD ain't the GOAT. KD is like me. KD is the GOAT herder. We round up the GOATS. We lead the GOATS."

Currently in the news for wanting out of the Nets, KD is facing a lot of heat. The 6-foot-10 forward has 4 million and 4 years left on his contract, with general manager Sean Marks and company willing to wait as long as it takes for a fruitful deal.
