Warriors’ Stephen Curry looks better than ever as he prepares to start the season and defend his championship

The Golden State Warriors are the reigning NBA champions and would like to keep it that way. After reaching five finals in a row, they went through a rough patch and it was a terrible time for the team. First, Klay Thompson suffered back-to-back ACL and Achilles tendon injuries that ended his career. Then Stephen Curry broke his hand, hurt his tailbone and sprained his knee.

However, the only thing that kept them going was knowing that the Dubs would be hard to contain once the core returned. And that was the truth. Come the 2022 Playoffs, the Warriors got their Big 3 back for the first time properly. They went wild and finished the playoffs on a 16-6 streak.

Stephen Curry led the way and got Dubs over the finish line. He earned his fourth championship and his first Finals MVP. Curry, however, hasn’t been messing around. Shortly after winning the ring, he returned to the routine, preparing for the next season.

Stephen Curry and LeBron James are two of the best players of this current generation. LeBron James has a stellar resume that needs no introduction, and the same goes for Steph. They both have 4 championships to their names, which made this question asked by Ashley Nicole Moss even funnier.

During Steph’s interview with Sports Illustrated, where she was promoting her children’s book, ‘I Have a Superpower,’ Steph played an either/or game. There, Ashley asked:

“Would you rather miss the playoffs next year or see your friend LeBron win his fifth ring?”

The recently crowned Finals MVP thought about it for a second and said:

“Oh, I love these. No no no. I’m getting into the playoffs, you’re going to have to beat us, so I’m rocking that.

“

I guess friendship is important, but for the Chef, winning rings is the most important thing. Once you get the taste of winning, there’s no going back, and no one knows that better than Steph.
