What does Jordan Pooles’ contract situation look like now, after the infamous Draymond Green incident?

They say that winning cures everything, but apparently the Stephen Curry franchise is an exception. And it’s especially weird, given the team’s ‘Kumbaya’ culture.

Draymond Green and Jordan Poole have reportedly been known to feud for the past few months. But, the organization chose to do nothing about it, because it never seemed to get out of control…until it got out of control.

This comes at a time when Poole has been in contract negotiations with Golden State. And given the massive impact he’s had during these past few playoffs, his field will surely believe he expects the most.

So how much money can you make on your next contract?

Jordan Poole might be asking for a little more than he was asking for before the incident

As it is, Jordan Poole is on a 4-year, $10 million contract extension, which will net him nearly $4 million over the next season.

Like Tyler Herro, he is eligible for $130 million over 4 years from the Warriors. However, given the Dubs’ already high salary tax bill, it was believed that he was ready to reduce it to $100 million.

But now, after the incident, we can’t imagine that JP’s enthusiasm for staying with the Dubs hasn’t been affected. And given how good he was last season, he’s also gotten quite a bit of attention from other franchises.

Long story short, he’s a wanted man and he knows it.

Given the situation, it is likely that Poole’s group will increase the amount of this trade, trying to get a little more from the Warriors. And while it is very unlikely that he will get the maximum of $130 million, we could be looking at $110-$115 million over 4 seasons.

But, that prediction misses a question.
