Pakistan’s renowned OTT platform tapmad has successfully acquired the live broadcast rights for the upcoming 15th edition of the Asian Cup, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates later this month.

With the rights to broadcast live over 100 channels in the entertainment, news and sports categories along with several On Demand videos. The first OTT platform in Pakistan – tapmad once again brings an exciting update for its viewers as it has successfully acquired the digital rights for the Asian Cup 2022.

tapmad features a conventional monthly subscription price of PKR 199 and a one-week promotional offer for just PKR 1. The action-packed multinational tournament will feature six teams, five of which have been shut down so far, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

The sixth team, however, will be decided on August 24 after the conclusion of the qualifying round, which begins on Saturday (today), and includes the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Kuwait and Singapore.

The main round of the continental event will kick off on August 27 when hosts Sri Lanka take on Afghanistan in an opening act. Whereas, the most anticipated clash of the tournament will take place on August 28 when Pakistan take on arch-rivals India.

This year’s Asian Cup is promised to be an exciting tournament for Pakistani cricket fans as the national contingent looks very strong with the likes of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
