Sidhu Moose Wala murder: Father alleges ‘politicians’ involvement’

Sidhu Moose Wala’s father has alleged the involvement of his “close friends and politicians” in the singer’s murder.

In his latest statement to a local country news agency, Balkaur Singh, father of the slain Indian singer Sidhu Moose Wala, has alleged that some of his son’s close friends, as well as some politicians, are involved in the murder.

“Some people wanted him to do every deal in his career through them. But Sidhu was independent. They could not accept this and they sent him to kill, “he told the portal in a conversation. “Even the government was misled.”

Accusing some of Moose Wala’s close associates, Singh further stated: “Some black sheep became enemies of his career. It was his misfortune that the people he knew early on (in his career) weren’t the right people.”

“He could not realize that those who claimed to be his brothers now would become his enemies tomorrow.”

In the end, Singh reaffirmed that he would name those involved soon, “at the right time.”

For the inexperienced, rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in the Mansa district of Punjab state in India on May 29 this year, a day after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) reduced its security.

Last month, a special cell of the Delhi police captured two of the shooters, Ankit Sirsa and Sachin Bhiwani, from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang, who were involved in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

Furthermore, the Pune police also arrested two of the suspects Santosh Jadhav and Navnath Suryavanshi earlier involved in the same case.
