PCB signs contract with Sports Board Punjab to build 26 grounds
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reached an agreement with the Punjab Sports Board in a bid to build 26 pitches in the central region of the province.
Salman Naseer, PCB’s director of operations, and Israrullah Faiz, secretary of PSB, signed the contract on Friday, which states that PCB will take over 17 plots of land and provide technical support to SBP on nine plots.

The deal will further significantly help promote the grassroots level of cricket in the province.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PCB, under the leadership of Ramiz Raja, emphasized the importance of the grassroots level of cricket and as a result also introduced the first Pakistan Junior League (PJL), scheduled to run from 1st to October 15 here.
