Lt-Gen Abid Pervaiz appointed new Corps Commander Multan
Multan (November 24, 2012): Lieutenant General Abid Pervez has been appointed as Corps Commander Multan replacing Lt-Gen Shafqaat Ahmed from the key post who is due to retire later this month.
Before the new assignment, Lt-Gen Abid Pervaiz HI(M) was working on the post of Chief of Logistics Staff (CLS) in General Headquarters (GHQ).
The new Corps Commander Multan is due to retire on 15 April 2015.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Shafqaat Ahmed HI (M), Punjab will be retiring this week.
