Lahore’s 5 year old rape victim recovering in ICU
LAHORE: 5 years old Sumbal, who was earlier left in the hospital premises after being raped is in recovering phase is now recovering as the hospital administration claims.
The hospital administration has restricted anyone to meet the victim of rape incident.
The administration claim that Sumbal who was dropped at the doorsteps of hospital after being raped is better than before and is recovering.
Sources say that Sumbal had increasing heartbeat which has now normalized.
Sumbal doesn’t know Urdu as she hails from Pashto family. When the police asked her about the incident, she started crying. The hospital administration said that the girl was recovering fast but needs mental counseling to come out of the trauma of the incident.
Earlier, Some unidentified men on Friday reportedly raped a 5-year-old girl, then dumped her in front of the Ganga Ram hospital in Lahore. The child was then shifted to Children Hospital, as pediatric surgery’s facility wasn’t available.
