Shaq declined to comment on the situation these two high-profile names have gotten themselves into.
While they both had different levels of deception, they still betrayed the trust of their partners. And Shaq, being a serial cheater himself, would have become the world’s biggest hypocrite if he had commented.
He said he understood the situation they are both in right now. Having been through the same thing, he wishes them the best of luck and hopes they come out stronger.
He also hopes they don’t lose their families like Big Diesel did. Shaq wishes that Nia Long would find it in his heart to forgive Udoka and let things stay normal between him and the children. And that’s where he goes wrong.

There is no place for cheaters, period. It doesn’t matter if you did it once, twice or for 10 seconds; he’s still cheating.
There are no accidents when it comes to cheating; there is a whole thought process behind it. No one slips on a banana peel and accidentally cheats; you plan it and you do it consciously.
There should be a punishment for it because there is nothing in the law that makes cheating on a fiancé a punishable offence. You are morally wrong and despised, but you are not punished as a person who commits arson would be. That, and that alone, pushes many cheaters to live without Scott.
Shaq, people love you for your honesty, and they appreciate you coming out and saying how you felt after you cheated on your ex-wife.
And the things you described, I felt like you did your time. You can spend time with your children only after they have seen what you went through and decided to accept it again.
Ime Udoka deserves her punishment. It was one thing to be caught, another to keep cheating on his fiancée and live like everything was rosy.
