Govt announce to sell 26% of PIA’s shears

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has become a symbol of crisis which demands about Rs. 3 billion every month from the government run its affairs.

In a bid to extract PIA from the crisis, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on Thursday chaired a meeting in capital of Pakistan, Islamabad and made some decision to overcome PIA’s current situation.

According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif allowed to sell 26 percent of PIA’s shares on private public partnership.

The PM said in a meeting that PIA officials should clear the procedures of selling PIA’s shares.

Earlier, PM showed his great concerns over PIA’s current crisis during the meeting.
