Chinese Taipei crush Pakistan 7-0 in Women’s Indoor Asia Cup opener
BANGKOK: The women’s national team suffered a crushing opening defeat at the hands of Chinese Taipei in the recently started Indoor Asia Cup 2022.
The national team got off to an unwelcome start to their Indoor Asia Cup campaign as the green jerseys lost by a wide margin of 7-0 to weak opponent Chinese Taipei.
The national team struggled for most of the game and could only helplessly try to score the goal, but could not do it.
Head coach Naeem Ahmed’s instructions were also unable to help the team score on the scoreboard before the Chinese team ran away with an emphatic 7-0 win.
The Pakistan women’s hockey team will now face Kazakhstan in their second match of the ongoing tournament on August 9.
