At least 17 people were killed and 29 others injured when an explosion occurred on a bus carrying Secretariat employees on Charsadda Road, Peshawar.

According to preliminary reports, the bus carrying employees was on its way near Gul Bela on Charsadda Road when the explosion occurred.

Subsequently, at least 17 people were killed and 29 others injured in the attack, according to Commissioner Peshawar Division Sahibzada Anees Khan.

As a result of the explosion, the bus was completely destroyed.

The casualties were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
