Bomb Blast in Turbat: Five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and five injured

QUETTA: Five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and five injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a patrol van in Turbat on Tuesday.

Sources said the FC van was on routine patrol in the Tump area when an IED device planted by the roadside exploded.
There were also reports of an exchange of fire taking place after the device exploded.

The bodies and the injured have been shifted to the hospital.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and a search operation is underway.
