Abuzar Afzal: Pakistani youth abducted by terrorists in Nigeria

A young Pakistani man, Abuzar Afzal, a resident of the city of Multan in Punjab, was allegedly kidnapped by terrorists in Nigeria, reported SIAL NEWS.

The video of the kidnapped young man Abuzar Afzal went viral on social networks in which he is seen standing next to other kidnapped people. It was learned that Abuzar and others were kidnapped by the terrorists after an armed attack on a train.

In the video message, the Pakistani man said he was among 62 people who had been kidnapped on March 28. The father of the kidnapped man said that his son completed a doctorate in microbiology and that he was working as a general manager in a foreign company. .

He said the hijackers had demanded the release of their accomplices arrested by the Nigerian government in exchange for the kidnapped civilians.

Abuzar’s father further said that he asked the federal government to provide assistance for his son’s release, but no one contacted him or shared details of any action with him.

Abuzar Afzal’s family called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to contact their Nigerian counterparts to free him.
