LAHORE (September 11, 2012): At least 25 people died after a fire broke out in shoe sole making factory here on Tuesday.
According to Dunya News fire erupted in a shoe factory Tuesday afternoon in Ferozwala area on Bnad Road.
The workers were trapped inside the factory after the fire.
Rescue and fire brigade teams reached the fire site after the information and started efforts to extinguish the fire and rescue the factory workers.
Rescue teams faced difficulties due to massive amount of fire and smoke.
Rescue workers were trying to bring out people still trapped in the factory building till the filing of this report.
The injured have been shifted to various hospitals.
