Anthony Davis is arguably having the best regular season with a Lakers jersey. He has been available for 68 of 73 possible games. In fact, he has participated in 96 of the Lakers’ last 100 games if we include last season’s playoffs. Legion Hoops The post on X addressed Davis’ constant availability over the past two seasons.

The publication argued, considering his constant presence, that the narrative around him being “Street clothes” should be left alone. He also highlighted how the two-way phenom logged 52 minutes in the win against the Bucks, the most since Kobe Bryant.

So is there any secret behind this change? In a strange coincidence, AD swapped Nike’s ‘Kobes’ sneakers for ‘LeBrons’ sneakers last season.

The shoe change has apparently led to Davis’ increased presence on the court. X account’NBAStatGuy’ pointed out the change made by KD. He added that AD wore LeBron’s 20 last season and is currently wearing LeBron’s 21.

The publication also argued that its availability has increased since it made the change. The reason could be that Kobe Bryant’s shoes are designed particularly for crafty guards, while LeBron James’ sneakers are well-equipped to handle big men. Aside from that, updated technology in recent years has helped the comfort and absorbency level of Big Feet.

Considering AD’s above-the-rim offensive and defensive play, the LeBron 21 could have acted as an excellent landing pad for the Lakers big man. In addition to the LeBron 21, Davis gave LBJ fans a big surprise recently.

Anthony Davis turned back the clock for LeBron James fans

During the recent game against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Brow turned up the heat with the Nike Soldiers 1. Nike released the first Zoom Soldier shoe in 2007, when LBJ was still in his early 20s.

Therefore, when AD put on the shoes during the Bucks’ battle, he brought back several memories of Bron’s early days.

Davis gave a performance worth remembering to commemorate the moment.

A post from Account X’NBAKicks’ took a closer look at the updated version of the LeBron Zoom Soldier.

The forward put in a Herculean performance, 34 points, 23 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 blocks and 2 steals. His incredible comeback helped Lakeshow to a key double-overtime victory of 128:124, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and company were unable to hold off the team without LeBron James. In any case, these types of performances have become an integral part of AD’s career, especially since the last two seasons.

He has done a great job correcting narratives that downplayed his contributions to the Lakers. Although the Lakers are headed to a play-in finish, with Davis, LBJ and his signature cleats in the mix, fans can expect a strong postseason run from the Purple and Gold.
