[alert-success] South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship 2013 [/alert-success]

The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship kicked off in Kathmandu in 1997, evolving out of its Forerunner, the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Gold Cup.

All eight SAFF members – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the 10th Edition of this event which will take place in Kathmandu from 31st Aug – 11th Sep 2013.

The 2013 edition of the SAFF Championship will see 8 teams divided into two (2) groups of four (4) for single round-robin play, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals.

Opening match of South Asian Football Federation Championship 2013 was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on August 31st.

Group A:
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal

Pool B:
Afghanistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Sri Lanka

Venue:

All the games will be played at Kathmandu, Nepal.
