Rain brings smile on faces of heat-plagued citizens: Gujranwala
GUJRANWALA: Cold breeze and showers in Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Jhang brought some joy on faces of people hit hard by extreme heat conditions.
Dark clouds again engulfed the city of Gujranwala after one-day break. Cold breeze and heavy downpours broke the recent spell of scorching heat.
Large number of citizens came out of their homes to enjoy the rainy weather.
However, water turned some lower areas of the city filthy and muddy, causing problems for people to move around. People complained of bad sewerage system for the filthy conditions in their localities.
In Faisalabad also, windstorm followed by light showers lashed the city.
Cold breeze has turned the weather pleasant, brining smiles on back heat-stricken faces.
