PCB shifts Pakistan-West Indies ODI series to Multan

LAHORE: Pakistan’s home ODI series against West Indies has been moved to Multan following potential political instability in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed.

In an official statement issued by the PCB, the cricket board confirmed that the three ODIs, which are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, will be played on the previously announced dates, i.

e. on 8 , June 10 and 12, with matches kicking off at 4 pm PKT.

The team will take part in pre-series training camp here from June 1-4 before traveling to Multan on June 5.

Pakistan’s right arm sprinter Haris Rauf and leg spinner Shadab Khan, who currently play cricket in the UK county, will touch down in the country on June 1 and join training camp the following day.

The West Indies side, on the other hand, will arrive in Islamabad on June 6 via charter flight.

June 8 – First ODI: Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza (field referees), Rashid Riaz (third referee) and Faisal Khan Afridi (fourth referee); Mohammad Javed (match referee)

June 10 – Second ODI: Aleem Dar and Asif Yaqoob (field referees), Ahsan Raza (third referee), Faisal Khan Afridi (fourth referee); Mohammad Javed (match referee)

June 12 – Third ODI: Aleem Dar and Rashid Riaz (field referees), Asif Yaqoob (third referee), Faisal Khan Afridi (fourth referee); Mohammad Javed (match referee)
