Pakistan’s three member committee to hold talks with YouTube over blasphemous content
Islamabad: A committee of Pakistan’s Senate on Tuesday formed a three-member committee to hold negotiations with YouTube administration for blockage of blasphemous content on their video sharing website.
The Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology was chaired by Senator Muhammad Idrees Khan.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority General Manager Wasim Tauqir told the committee that the YouTube had refused to block blasphemous content while the Facebook cooperated in this regard.
He said that 95,000 links to the sacrilegious contents still exited on the YouTube. opkorenal.com/news/html/stendra.html
The Senate body formed a three-member committee headed by Senator Saifullah Khan to hold talks with the YouTube authorities.
