Lahore: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Asif Bajwa has resigned from his post.

According to reports, Olympian Rana Mujahid will assume the responsibilities of PHF Secretary.

Bajwa tendered his resignation during the PHF Executive Council meeting.

The resignation came following Pakistan’s failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Bajwa said he believes that Rana Mujahid will take the Pakistani team to ‘the next level’ and hoped that they are able to meet the expectations of the media and the nation.
