The pitchers then fired brilliantly to take down Karnataka in 203, winning the game by 151 runs. It was a dominant victory for Tamil Nadu in the quarter-finals and they will try to repeat the performance on Friday.
Saurashtra, meanwhile, defeated Vidarbha in the third quarter-final. The pitchers delivered after their captain had won the toss and decided to pitch first.
They did a good job of taking down Vidarbha in 150. Each player took at least one wicket in a full display.
Saurashtra didn’t have the best start with the stick while chasing, but Prerak Mankad and Arpit Vasavada ensured they made it across the line. They won the game by seven wickets and chased the target in the 30th over.
