Late Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu breaks down in tears
Bollywood actress Saira Banu was moved to accept the Dr. Bharat Ratna Ambedkar Award on behalf of her late actor and husband Dilip Kumar at an event.
He received the Dr. Bharat Ratna Ambedkar Award from Union Minister Ramdas Athawale.

“This is why I don’t go to any functions because I feel terrible, but what do I do,” he said.
She went on to say that she feels like her husband is still there supporting her.
“I feel like he’s still here, watching everything, being with me. He is not in my memories. He is with me at every step. I will be able to spend my life believing that he is with me,” she said.
“I am not even going to think that he is not, so that it is easier for me to believe that he is with me and will always be my support,”mere kohinoor‘” she added.

She said her husband should be honored with Bharat Ratna, which is the highest civilian honor in the country, because of his legacy.
“It should happen, God willing, because Dilip Sahab has been the ‘Kohinor‘ of our country. So ‘Kohinorhe should definitely get a Bharat Ratna,” he said while speaking to the media.
According to the report, the minister announced that he would request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider awarding Bharat Ratna to the legendary actor.
Dilip Kumar married Saira Banu in 1966. He passed away due to prolonged illness in 2021.
