Lahore Cantt. Elections, Army to be deployed
Lahore (Web Desk): Pakistan Army is going to be deployed for Local body elections in Lahore Cantonment. Army Soldiers will provide security to the polling stations.
It was decided on Monday in an important meeting held in Lahore cantonment that army will be deployed for providing security at the polling stations in Lahore cantonment and Walton cantonment.
According to the source, The soldiers of Pakistan Army will only provide security to the polling stations.
Attendeants of the meeting were also given detailed briefing about polling scheme on this occasion.
Police officials were present in the meeting along with the officials of the intelligence agencies.
