KPK Police appoints Shaheen Shah Afridi as a goodwill ambassador

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Police appointed left arm pacemaker Shaheen Shah Afridi as an honorary officer on Monday.

In a high-profile ceremony, KPK Police Chief Muazzam Khan praised the left-arm pacemaker before announcing him as a goodwill ambassador for the provincial police agency.

Following the honorary achievement, Shaheen thanked the police and commended them for their services in protecting citizens.

“I have ties to the police as my father served as a police officer and my brother is an active police officer,” Shaheen said.

“Policemen and all security officials are the true heroes of our country.

They deserve all respect and honor,” he added.

In addition to Shaheen, who attended the ceremony wearing a police uniform, left-handed starter Fakhar Zaman was also present for the occasion.
