Draymond Green finally broke the media silence and addressed the incident involving Jordan Poole himself.
News had broken earlier this week about a breakup during training between the two Warriors, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole. Speculation about the possible reasons circulated on social media.
All of this, before the shocking video evidence of what happened, was leaked by TMZ. The rumor mill reached a fever pitch when the footage became available to the public and caused quite a stir.

What did Draymond say about the incident involving him and Jordan Poole?
Draymond Green apologized profusely in his statements to the media. Green took full responsibility for his actions and claimed that he was in a “very very very bad space mentally” the day of the altercation.

Green also took the opportunity to extend an apology to Jordan Poole’s family and friends. Draymond said she would understand how her mother would feel if she saw that video, as she apologized to Poole’s loved ones.

Green, widely considered a leader in the Warriors’ locker room, admitted to failing in his responsibilities as a leader and a man with such an act. Draymond also took the opportunity to address the fact that the clash had nothing to do with his upcoming contract negotiations, a widely speculated reason for the fallout from him.
