Electricity Monitor Software by the students of NED University
Karachi: NED University of Engendering and Technology students Yusra siddiqui and Zohaib made a special mobile software which can monitor electricity consumptions in homes.
This software will be attached to the monitor and than an SMS sent to the consumer of the electricity consumption.
Software can store the data up to 5 years.
Software is named as electrical power utilization manager. With the help of this software, electricity, it’s current and voltage being used in home or industrial levels can be estimated exactly one minute to one hour. This software is designed to estimate minute to minute even hours and daily usage of electricity.
Developers of this software, Yusra Sadiqui and Zohaib Shoaib told that software is feeded with the concerned electricity supplying company’s terrif, by doing this daily and monthly consumed electricity values can be found. They also told that consumer can fix electricity units of their will in the software and can get all the details through sms.
They also told that electrical power utilization manager software will be attached to the electricity meter through a device.
Software will monitor daily based electricity consumption and consumer will receive all the data via sms. And software will also show this consumption in graphical figures.
Students told that they are working for more improvements in the software which is now in its initial stages.
