Coalmine toxic gas kills 8 workers in Loralai

QUETTA: At least eight coalmine workers were killed early this morning after a poisonous gas filled in their mine located in tehsil Duki of Balochistan’s Loralai district.

Quoting rescue sources, The sources said the laborers working in a private coalmine in Duki area of Balochistan, were suffocated to death after the toxic gas emitted in huge amount in the mine.

Media person says as many as nine workers hailing from Swat were working in a coalmine when poisonous gas filled it.

He said eight workers were killed while another fell unconscious.

Locals rushed to the spot and shifted the dead to a nearby hospital.
