CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif distributes ‘Apna rozgar Scheme’ cars
LAHORE (Web Desk): Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday distributed ‘Apna rozgar Scheme’ (Self-employment scheme) cars in Model Town, Lahore.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday 21st March 2015 said that the government was making maximum efforts to produce employments in the country.
He claimed that Punjab government was also spending billions to provide esteemed employments for its locals.
Inaugurating the scheme, CM Shahbaz distributed the keys of the cars among the lucky-draw winners, Local Media reported. Speaking on this occasion, CM Punjab said that three hundred thousand people will benefit from the ‘Apna rozgar Scheme’. He also announced that ‘Patwari culture’ will be buried forever by the end of June in 36 districts of Punjab.
CM Punjab said that the government was providing merit-based and interest-free loans up to Rs50,000 for the citizens for their employments while service charges will also be beared by the government.
He said that Punjab Education Endowment Fund was established to promote education amongst the locals to provide relief to the needy and intelligence students. Shahbaz Sharif said that the government was trying to rid Pakistan of unemployment as soon as possible. He said that 50,000 cars will be distributed among people while the service charges will be borne by the government.
