The Asia Cup 2025 will be the 17th edition of the prestigious tournament, organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The event is scheduled to take place from 9 September to 28 September 2025 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Unlike the 2023 edition which was played in ODIs, the 2025 Asia Cup will be held in the T20I format, serving as a crucial build-up ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
A total of eight teams will compete:
India
Pakistan
Sri Lanka
Bangladesh
Afghanistan
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Oman
Hong Kong
The teams are divided into two groups:
Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Oman
Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Hong Kong
