Sherman Douglas is probably a name you haven’t heard of. In the early 1990s, Douglas, a small shooting guard, was more than capable of starting any team he represented.

After 12 long years, “The General” retired from the game as an All-Rookie member and even had a respectable career split of 11/2.2/5.9. Despite being a pretty solid athlete, there was one particular feat the 6-footer never managed to pull off: defeating Air Jordan.

Jordan and Douglas met 30 times in total: 27 meetings in the regular season and 3 in the playoffs. Of those, Mike managed to win all 30 games, the most one-sided affair for two players in NBA history.

Although it’s not a very shocking fact, you should feel bad for Douglas.
