India thrash Indonesia 16-0, knock Pakistan out of Hockey Asia Cup 2022

JAKARTA: The Indian hockey team produced an astonishing performance to advance to the next round of the ongoing Asian Cup, here on Thursday.

Needing to defeat Indonesia by a gargantuan 16-goal margin to advance to the next round of the Asian Cup, India put in an astonishing performance to advance further in the tournament, beating the hosts 16-0.

After a draw against Pakistan and a loss to reigning Asian champions Japan, the men in blue were third in Group A.
