Prince William evokes late mother Diana’s charity cause
Prince William evoked the charity work of his late mother, Princess Diana, describing it as “a London street selling copies of a magazine that helps combat homelessness, and said he was committed to highlighting the issue”.
William, second in line to the British throne, was seen in early June standing on a street in Westminster as a salesman for the ‘Big problem’selling homeless people in Britain as a way to make money.

“I was 11 years old when I first visited a homeless shelter with my mother, who in her own inimitable style was determined to shed light on an overlooked and misunderstood problem,” Prince William wrote in the latest issue of the magazine dated Monday.
Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997, promoted and worked for dozens of charities, raising awareness of homelessness, AIDS, leprosy and landmines, among other causes.
Charity Crisis estimated that 227,000 British households became homeless during 2021.

“While I may seem like one of the most unlikely advocates for this cause, I have always believed in using my platform to help tell those stories and bring attention and action to those who are fighting back,” William wrote.
“…I promise to continue to do what I can to highlight this solvable problem not just today, but for months and years to come.”
