Passenger bus collide with electric pole on Faisalabad road, 20 killed

Sheikhupura: At least 20 people have been killed and more than 40 others injured after a passenger bus collided with an electricity pole on Faisalabad road, here on Saturday night.

The accident occurred when the high-speed passenger bus travelling from Lahore towards Faisalabad collided with an electricity pole.

The driver of the bus lost control due to over speeding.

Later, police and rescue workers reached the site of the accident and shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital.

The accident destroyed the bus completely.

According to rescue sources, the death toll may increase as the conditions of many injured was stated to be critical.
