LeBron James stating that he would love to play with Stephen Curry was a no-brainer for the Warriors star and Draymond Green.
LeBron James has had a litany of superstar players that he has had by his side as he pursued championships. The top 3 guys on everyone’s mind are Dwyane Wade with the Miami Heat, Kyrie Irving with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Anthony Davis with the Los Angeles Lakers. And as he promised, he brought titles to the 3 cities.
The way James has run his career is completely different from the way Stephen Curry has. Curry was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2009 and 13 years later, he’s still with them.
The way Curry acquired his 4 titles was by building a core base of himself, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. James acquired those 4 titles by changing teams when he realized that his current team was not good enough to compete.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry met four times in the NBA Finals between 2015 and 2018, establishing one of the best rivalries of the 21St. century. However, in this age of player movement, perhaps these two first ballot Hall of Famers could unite with the way they talk about each other.

LeBron James made the most of his presence in TinselTown, doing everything from starring in his own movie Space Jam to starting his own interview series alongside Maverick Carter, known as ‘The Shop.
‘ In a matter of just a few short years, ‘The Shop’ has risen above the ranks and been attended by some of the biggest people in sports and entertainment.
During one particular episode in early April of this year, James admitted that he would love to play none other than Stephen Curry, despite their battles in the mid to late 2010s.
“Steph Curry is who I want to play for sure, in today’s game. I love everything about that boy. Lethal. When he gets out of his car, you better protect him from the moment he stops in the arena. You may want to protect him when he gets out of bed. Swear by God. He is serious.
In response to this, Curry appeared on ‘The Draymond Green Show’, saying that LBJ would be almost foolish not to say this, claiming that if there was one guy who was a perfect fit for James, it was him. Check out Steph’s response below around 5:30.
To be fair, Curry is right. While he did say the only team he would play for besides the Warriors would be the Charlotte Hornets, turning down an offer from LeBron James is pretty tough, to say the least. Plus, the players in the league are all friends these days anyway, regardless of their history together. I mean, James and Green got drunk at the latter’s wedding and danced together like they were the happily ever after couple.
