Michael Jordan owns a Nissan dealership in his home state of North Carolina, which makes sense given the millions he’s spent on cars.

Michael Jordan didn’t rack up his $1.6-2.1 billion simply by playing checks on the court. In his illustrious career from 1984 to 2003, he earned $94 million, but that pales in comparison to what he earned off the court. His two main sources of income are Nike’s Jordan Brand and being the majority owner and president of the Charlotte Hornets.

The North Carolina connection runs deep for Michael Jordan. Not only did he grow up there, but he went to UNC in Chapel Hill for three seasons. Given that he owns the Charlotte Hornets, it’s safe to say that the 6x champion has quite a bit of affection for the state of North Carolina.

Jordan even bankrolled not one but two health centers in Charlotte, spending more than $10 million on both. She did it to provide health care for those who cannot afford to spend large amounts of money on simple checkups.

Michael Jordan has developed a great affinity for cars and he showed it perfectly by creating his own Nissan dealership in Durham, North Carolina. Kona Equity reports indicate that the dealership had almost $16 million in sales in 2021, which is quite successful for a singular dealership.

The dealership refers to its customers as part of ‘Team 23’ to add to the appeal of being associated with Michael Jordan.

Jordan has always displayed his $1.6 billion net worth in different ways. Whether it’s through luxury travel around the world or vacations on his own yachts, Jordan isn’t shy about letting the world know that he earned it by being the greatest basketball player in history.

One way that MJ has stunted everyone around him is through his extensive car collection. Whether it’s his $350,000 Ferrari or his $200,000 1989 Porsche, Jordan moves in style.
