Eoin Morgan likely to announce his retirement from international cricket
LONDON: World Cup-winning England captain Eoin Morgan has decided not only to step down as captain, but is likely to put his 13-year international career with England on hold, The Guardian reported.
According to the details, England white ball captain Morgan, who was struggling with poor form and back-to-back injuries, has now decided to hang up his international cricket boots.
Reports further suggest that the world cup-winning captain will announce his retirement this week, eventually leaving a captaincy position vacant.

Also, Morgan’s deputy Jos Buttler is the favorite to take on the role of captain.
England’s multi-talented Moeen Ali, on the other hand, also weighed in on Morgan’s expected retirement plans while speaking to the BBC. special test match and stated that the pattern is made with international cricket.
