The holidays will be from 26th June to 28th June 2017. Employees will get 5 day holidays on this Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Ministry of Interior made the announcement to this effect in a statement issued.
The government offices will reopen on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
According to notification, Monday June 26, Tuesday June 27 and Wednesday June 28 would be public holidays in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Met Office officials, Eid ul Fitr is likely to fall on Monday, (June 26).
The annual holiday is celebrated by Muslims across the world after the culmination of fasting month of Ramazan.
According to press release which, June 26, 27 and 28 shall be public holidays; however, the preceding days of Saturday and Sunday will raise the number of holidays to five.
